Polish Game Championship with Komat

The Polish Game Championship is a unique culinary event in the country. Double teams of professional chefs prepared the competition dishes, the basic ingredient of which was a saddle of roe deer, at Komat's workstations. 

The first place was taken by Tomasz Kasperlik and Piotr Mazur from ARIES Hotel & SPA.
The second place on the podium belonged to Jacek Stachurski and Łukasz Woźniak from the Philharmonic of Taste.

Trip to Wrocław

It has already become a tradition that Komat organizes a trip to the most beautiful places in Poland for its employees at the weekend after Corpus Christi. The Komat family spent a long weekend this year integrating and visiting, too. This time it was beautiful Wroclaw and the surrounding area.

On Friday, in the very morning the group reached the city center and began an intensive exploration of the old part of Wroclaw. The first day abounded in historic places, among others Ostrów Tumski with the gothic cathedral, Ossolineum, Stare Jatki, the Royal Palace. There was also a chance to admire the city from the viewpoint on the mathematical tower and the opportunity to catch a breath during a cruise on the Odra River.

On the second day the group drove from the city to Zagórze Śląskie. There, the exploration of the ruins of the Grodno Castle, the Walimskie Adits and the Silver Mountain fortress began. After returning, the group sat together to an integration dinner.

The trip ended with a walk around the Japanese Garden and a long-awaited visit to the zoo in Wrocław.

The time spent together is always valuable and well remembered, and the group is already thinking about the direction of the next year trip.

Nomination in the "Teraz Polska" competition

On Monday, April 23, nominations were announced in the "Teraz Polska" (Now Poland) competition organized by the Foundation of the Polish Promotional Emblem.  
Among the best products submitted for the competition there was also a modular comprehensive underbar system of masterBAR. 

The "Teraz Polska" emblem is an award granted for almost 30 years. It is the most recognizable symbol promoting Polish entrepreneurs. The "Teraz Polska" competition awards products and services of the highest quality. 

The nomination for such a prestigious award is a great honor for us.

The EuroGastro Fair ended up with a success!

EuroGastro is the largest trade fair event in the hotel, restaurant and catering industry in Poland. Everyone interested in the latest trends in catering arrives at the Fair and Congress Center in Warsaw to get acquainted with the offer of exhibitors. During the trade fairs from March 21 to 23, exhibitors from all around the world presented their products. Among them, Komat could not be missing.

During the fair, in addition to standard products, Komat showed some new ones - the FRESH and SMARTCAP buffet, which aroused considerable interest. The stand was constantly busy. The attention of the visitors of the fair was surely attracted by the live cooking show on the SMARTCAP device performed by excellent Marek Widomski. A good atmosphere was also ensured by Krzysztof Drabik, who is well-known from the "I've got a talent" show, who served cocktails prepared in an effective way. What's more, during the evening banquet for business partners of Komat, he presented a fantastic bartending show. 

The 22nd EuroGastro trade fair turned out to be extremely fruitful also thanks to awarding the FRESH buffet line with the main prize in the Contest for the Best Product "Top Quality EuroGastro 2018" in the category EQUIPMENT FOR RESTAURANTS, BARS, CAFES, CONFECTIONERIES, ICE CREAM PARLORS.

We came back from EuroGastro fair with satisfaction coming not only from the great interest in our products, but also from another prestigious distinction. The FRESH buffet line received the main prize in the Contest for the Best Product "Top Quality EuroGastro 2018" in the category EQUIPMENT FOR RESTAURANTS, BARS, CAFES, CONFECTIONERIES, ICE CREAM PARLORS.

This is the fourth award for the FRESH buffet, which previously also won prizes during the Polagra and Horeca fairs.

Award Gala of the Consumers' Choice Gold Medal

On March 20, 2018, at the City Garden at Poznań International Fair, the gala of Consumers' Choice Gold Medal took place. That evening, Komat celebrated another success of the FRESH buffet line. This success, however, is special because the jury's role was taken by the clients themselves.

The award, which is the Gold Medal of the Poznań Fair itself, is an extremely elite distinction awarded by experts. Awarding of the prize also by consumers is a confirmation and undeniable proof that the Komat buffet satisfies the recipients in terms of both practicality and aesthetics.

Tomasz Kobierski, the vice president of the Poznań International Fair, said: "An elite prize because it is awarded only to the best products: innovative, ecological, meeting the most important legal norms and those standards resulting from the market demand of consumers."

We appreciate the award primarily for the fact that the win is decided by those for whom the product is made. Thank you again for every vote you cast!

GastroHotel and Gastrosilesia fairs

An intensive fair period for the catering industry is in progress. Within just one week, Komat appeared at two exhibition events - in Kołobrzeg and in Katowice.

The 15th edition of the GastroHotel Fair was held in the Millennium Hall in Kołobrzeg, where over 1.5 thousand visitors appeared. The fair lasted from March 7 to 9 and was open to all interested parties. During this trade fair, in addition to the catalog furniture, Komat presented the premiumCold refrigerated buffet and a serving line of a modern design.

Furthermore, from March 11 to 13, the fifth edition of Gastrosilesia Fair took place - this time at the International Congress Center in Katowice. Gastrosilesia is one of the largest events dedicated to the HoReCa sector in southern Poland. The exhibition area was visited by almost 3 thousand representatives of the industry, and during the open day at the fair there were as many as 10,000 people. At Komat's stand, you could have a look at the company's standard furniture, as well as the premiumCold buffet and speedBAR.

2017 Platinum HIT for Komat

On February 24 this year, during the official ceremony, we had the pleasure to receive the already platinum HIT of the Greater Poland region. We received the 2017 Platinum HIT title for building the company's image and creating a strong global brand based on 25 years of experience.

The distinction in the Economic and Local-Government Competition - Hit of the Region, given in the year of our jubilee, is doubly valued because it is an excellent proof that our activities and constant development over the quarter of a century have been appreciated.

Komat one more time at Intergastra Global Fairs

Intergastra is one of the most important international fair events in Europe for representatives of the catering and hotel industry. As one of 1,400 exhibitors from all around the world, Komat was presenting itself for the second time at the largest German fairs, which gather nearly 100,000 visitors every two years.

Intergastra Fairs lasted from February 3 to 7 and turned out to be a perfect opening of the 2018 fair season for us. Attention to detail, aesthetics and quality of our products delighted the demanding German customers who numerously visited our stand. Especially the latest products attracted their attention: the FRESH buffet and Smart Cup . During these few days, we established new contacts and had many conversations with potential clients. The Stuttgart fair can certainly be considered a fruitful and successful entry into the intense trade fair period.

Summary of 2017

Like every year, at the beginning of January, we jointly summarized our last year's achievements. We discussed the most important events of the past year, directions for further development and also looked at our most interesting implementations and new products.

After the official part, the two-hundred-person team of Komat had an opportunity to eat dinner together and have a good time.

We gladly announced the past year as very successful both in terms of employment growth, new awarded products and innovations, the number of orders and an increasing number of local and nationwide initiatives supported by Komat. With optimism and energy we are starting another period in the life of our company, which seems to be extremely intense and promising.

Komat KIDS Cup for the second time!

On Saturday, December 16 in Czarnków, the second edition of the indoor football tournament - Komat KIDS Cup took place. The young players provided the fans with a lot of great emotions.

This time, 9 teams took part in the tournament. The competition ended up with the victory of the Radwan Lubasz team, which scored the winning goal in the last minute of the match with the MKS Notec Czarnków team. Young footballers from the Football Academy in Piła also got on the podium.

Promoting sport is important especially among the youngest, and seeing the passion and the spirit of fair play of such young players we are full of pride and joy.

The cooperation with MKS Noteć Czarnków will certainly result in further editions of the Komat KIDS Cup tournament and further support for young talents.

FRESH Buffet line awarded at HORECA

During the twenty-fifth HORECA fair in Cracow, the winners of the Competition for the Best Product for Hotel and Catering Industry were selected. In the category of catering equipment and appliances the FRESH buffet line was the winner. This is not the first time when FRESH buffets have been appreciated by the catering community. This distinction confirms the innovation and high quality of our latest product.

The votes of Internet users and visitors of the Poznań International Fair during the Polagra fair decided about the victory of the FRESH line buffets and awarding them the Gold Medal 2017 - CONSUMER CHOICE.

The integration trip to Warsaw

We could not miss the obligatory landmarks such as the Palace of Culture and Science, the Royal Baths, the Wilanow Palace or the Royal Castle in the Old Town. Additional attractions were, among others, visits to the National Stadium and the Copernicus Science Center.

Tennis struggles summarized - Komat League 2016

On Saturday, October 1st the official summary of the Komat Amateur League of Tennis 2016 took place. Season 2016 meant almost 250 matches played in five groups. The winner of the Main League Cup was Sylwester Baryczkowski for the third time in a row.

During the VI Football Tournament for the Cup of the President of Komat five teams have played action-packed matches, providing a lot of emotions. Representatives of junior high schools from Romanowo, Kuźnica Czarnkowska, Gebice, Jędrzejewo and Kruszewo performed a fantastic game.

Stand for the medal - Polagra 2016

Behind us is yet another edition of Polagra in Poznan. Four intense days of the exhibition meant many fruitful discussions with current and new customers from all over the world. On our stand we presented our comprehensive range of furniture and stainless steel appliances for catering. As always, the biggest emotion aroused the underbar system - masterBAR line with the frozen counter, past which one cannot go indifferently.

The consistent and clear concept of our stand was noticed and our company was awarded the Acanthus Aureus Prize for the best designed and prepared for its marketing strategy stand.

Theatrical journey in time and space

On August 15, shortly after the nightfall, residents of Czarnkow and the surrounding areas set out in a fanciful journey in time and space. Act Theatre took them in this amazing journey thanks to the show, "Beyond Time". An intriguing game of lights, dance, pantomime and live music made the audience and the actors go into the unknown. This wonderful event, which took place on Czarnkow Freedom Square, was organized by the Municipal Cultural Centre and Komat.

Komat at Cod Harvest

On July 2nd at the Castle in Gniew the catering industry gathered to observe and assess the 8 teams representing the known Polish dining establishments during the 13th Polish Championships in Fish Dishes - Cod Harvest 2016. Komat could not miss this wonderful event.

The task of the chefs was to prepare the main course of a cod fillet and a dessert of chocolate and chosen three fruits. The impressive jury, which included Kurt Scheller, Tomasz Jakubiak, Aleksandra Sowa-Trzebińska, Tomasz Deker, had no easy task. The best team was Tomasz Janczewski and Piotr Pawlowski (Andel's By Vienna House Łódź Restaurant Delight).

On Saturday, May 21 the whole Komat family, which includes employees, contractors and friends of the company along with their families met at the "Picnic with KOMAT."

The whole day was filled with numerous attractions for both the younger and the older participants of the picnic.

During the New Year's meeting organized by Czarnkowsko - Trzcianecki County and the Economic Forum of Czarnkowsko - Trzcianecki County ZPP Lewiatan, the county Prefect Mr. Tadeusz Teterus expressed gratitude to the owner of Komat for the work to improve the economic situation and increase innovation in Czarnkowsko - Trzcianecki County, as well as for supporting the development of economic aspects of life in the region and its promotion in the country and abroad.

5th Football Tournament for the Cup of the President of Komat

On warm Saturday morning on Czarnków Orlik Pitch took place the 5th Football Tournament for the Cup of the President of Komat organized together with the 67th Infantry Regiment Public Junior High School in Romanowo Dolne.

The competition between the teams from five schools ultimately ended with the victory of the team representing the junior high school in Kruszewo.

2015 Season is behind us! 46 athletes took part in this season of the Komat Tennis League. They met on September 26 at the Komat League Gala. During the ceremony, the winners were awarded and the prizes were handed out.

The Komat League Cup went to the winner of the League - Sylwester Baryczkowski, on the box stood also Martin Jachimczyk and Darek Kopiński. The two Second Divisions and two Third Divisions are not only about the place in the respective league, but also about the promotion to a higher division.

The rivalry ended as follows: Division IIA Marek Kawczyński, Paweł Stanisz, Sebastian Geremek, Division IIB Michał Benrot, Patryk Skupniewicz, Maciej Marcińczak, Division IIIA Piotr Ryżek, Waldemar Cybel, Adam Pankowski, Division IIIB Wojciech Skrzypczak, Jacek Dymek, Jacek Garstka.

Jubilee 15th PCC with Komat

For the fifteenth time the prestigious culinary competition - the Polish Culinary Cup was held. The winners of selected culinary competitions organized across the country over the past few months, competed for the title of the best of the best during the Polish Culinary Cup.

The competition took place on 5 workstations, which Komat equipped with stainless steel furniture.

This most important Polish culinary competition was won by Rafal Grzegorzek and Thomas Gełesz (Dr Irena Eris Hotel in Polanica Zdroj).

Volleyball successes!

With the end of the holiday, volleyball season ended for our players as well. Over the past few months they had played in many tournaments, achieving high scores, and almost always ending up on the box.

Maciej Cichowicz and Igor Ciemachowski finished the season on the 1st place during the Beach Volleyball Tournament "Volleyball End of Summer on the Beach in Trzcianka".

Opening of a new Komat office building

On July 1st in the presence of a number of invited guests and other representatives of local authorities, designers and construction contractors, business partners, employees and business friends, the grand opening of a new office building was held.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy - Mr. Janusz Piechocinski gave Komat the first prize in the competition for the most entrepreneurial company, exporter and innovator of the 19th International Catering Industry Fair EuroGastro 2015 for stainless steel furniture and appliances.

PremiumCold Buffet was awarded the 2014 - CONSUMER CHOICE Gold Medal obtaining 72.32% of the votes of Internet users and visitors to Poznań International Fair.

The award is a confirmation of the appreciation by consumers and the entire catering industry.

Komat among the FairPlay companies for the ninth time
