XV edition of the Cod Harvest
The jubilee edition of the Cod Harvest, or the Polish Championship in Sea Fish Dishes (Dorszowe Żniwa, czyli Mistrzostwa Polski w Potrawach z Ryb Morskich), is behind us. The chefs' competition took place on July 7 at the Green Gate Sports and Recreation Center in Przywidz. This year, the participants had to prepare a hors d'oeuvre using sirloin and a main course using cod loin and mashed potato.
One of the sponsors of the event was once again Komat, which took care of the workplaces of 8 cooking teams participating in the competition.
During this year's Cod Harvest, wine tasting, Carving Graffiti Olympics and a fair of healthy food and regional products took place.
The final gala was traditionally organized that same evening. During the gala, thanks were given to the partner companies, sponsors and jurors and the organizer - Krzysztof Szulborski.
Then the winners of the championship were announced:
1st place - Paweł Żukowicz and Przemysław Siuda – Sowa Restaurant, Bydgoszcz,
2nd place - Przemysław Gościniak and Bartłomiej Kornacki – Warszawska Restaurant, Hotel Centrum Sosnowiec,
3rd place - Jakub Nowak and Dariusz Zajdlewicz – Memo Restaurant, from Bydgoszcz as well,
