National Archimagirus Culinary Competition - Tradition & Modernity took place on July 11-13 at the atmospheric castle in Gniew. 

The best chefs and confectioners from all over Poland prepared competition dishes at the stalls of Komat, which had the pleasure of becoming a partner of this event. 

The competition lasted two days. Eight teams took part in the competition, and each team had three participants. The chefs and confectioners served a full menu: a starter, main course and dessert. 

An international jury decided about the win of the team of chefs from the Mercato restaurant at the Hilton hotel in Gdańsk - Paweł Stawicki, Marcin Milda and Łukasz Pęcarski.
The competition was worthwhile - in addition to the cash prize, the winners received an opportunity of a week's internship in one of the best restaurants in the world - RAV in Taiwan (two Michelin stars).
