Integration in the Tri-City
This year, the integration of the Komat Family took place in the beautiful Tri-City.
On Friday morning we met with a guide and started sightseeing from the Upland Gate, which is the beginning of the Royal Route. After that we walked along Długa Street - the most representative street in Gdańsk - and along Long Marketplace, where it was obligatory to take a souvenir photo at the Neptune Fountain. It was also necessary to go along the climatic street of St. Mary's and visit the "crown of the city of Gdansk" - St. Mary's Basilica. After lunch, we saw the symbol of Gdansk - the Crane, as well as the Fish Market and a part of the Old Town. In the evening, an integration dinner was traditionally held - this time with a view of the sea.
We started the second day with hearing the organ presentation at the Oliwa Cathedral. Then we went to the port of Gdynia, where we visited the historic ship Pomerania Gift (Dar Pomorza). After dinner on the pier we went on a cruise on the bay to Sopot. In Sopot it was obligatory to take a walk along the pier and then drink a coffee at Monciak.
The last day began with the arrival at Westerplatte. Then we drove to Solidarity Square. After the last dinner, it was time to leave the Tricity and return home.
Intensive sightseeing, next beautiful memories, time spent together by the wonderful Polish sea ... and great weather!
